Barcelona, Spain

 

        This was our Thanksgiving dinner last night in the Executive Lounge in the Hilton.  Too tired to venture out for dinner in a restaurant.  Besides this was good enough.

        We were in bed by 8pm but woke up at midnight to check the Dallas Cowboys game score online.  Final score was 45 to 10 Cowboys over Commanders.  Rebecca did not sleep well as allergic to feathers.  I had housekeeping remove the feather duvet this morning and replace with a blanket.  

        Up at 8:30 this morning and headed down to the hotel restaurant for a breakfast buffet.  It was cool and windy outside this morning but supposed to warm up to mid 60's with partial sunny skies.  Snow forecast in Durango so glad to get out before that.

        Tonight I went to the mall food court and got 4 Argentine empanadas to bring to the Executive Lounge.  They were to supplement the foods there.  Met a couple of guys there also boarding Grandeur tomorrow.  One was named Terry from New Zealand and knows Marcia.  Well, EVERYONE knows Marcia.  LOL  

 

        This is Jasmine who makes sure food and drinks are available in the Executive Lounge.  She was excited when we gave her a half bottle of the chardonnay we brought to the lounge.  What a sweetheart!

        Back in the suite and getting sick and tired of BBC News.  SOS (same ole thing) all day and night!!  Be so glad to board tomorrow.  Unfortunately, Amazon and Paramount Plus will not let us watch from Europe.  If we ever come back to this hotel, I will bring my other laptop with CD player and some movies.

        Big day tomorrow.  Boarding Grandeur.!!  Leaving the hotel at 11:30 am.
