I goofed and put yesterday's post (Day 5) on my 2017 world cruise blog. It has now been corrected.
LAST EVENING
This amazing tapestry is in the forward elevator well. It runs from deck 6 up through deck 10.
We sat at the bar in the Observation Lounge for cocktail hour. Saikumar, from India, made my Makers Mark Manhattans. He did a good job and was very personable.
We then adjourned to Compass Rose for dinner. They seated us at the same table 3 nights running. This is Joseph, our favorite waiter on this cruise. He was also on our world cruise earlier this year.
We both started with a Caesar salad. Dressing on the side as we like to add tabasco to the dressing for some spice. I then mix our salads. We sat at the bar in the Observation Lounge for cocktail hour. Saikumar, from India, made my Makers Mark Manhattans. He did a good job and was very personable.

I love anchovies so they bring me lots of them.
This is the veal osso bucco on creamy polenta that we ordered special for this evening. It was REALLY good and Joseph made sure it was hot. I enjoyed this pastry with a vanilla sauce and two scoops of chocolate ice cream.
I had Rebecca order this key lime pie which I ate most of it. It is always very good also.
Again, I was at the theater when the doors opened at 9:00. We sat on the front row next to Jim and Mary Ann Todd so his head is not in my photos last night. LOL Here are the photos I took during the show, "Marauders' Ball". The costumes and production cast's singing and dancing were super. BUT didn't understand the show's plot. Probably would not go see it again. We were not the only ones who felt this way about this show.
Last night the ship was rocking and rolling all night long. As a precaution, I got up at 1:00am and put half of a scopolamine patch behind my ear. Never been sea sick and didn't was to start now. We have the wrist bands with us also.
TODAY
Up at 7:45 and got Rebecca's coffees from the Coffee Connection. I then returned for my coffee and a donut. I have worked on uploading these photos and writing this post for over 2 hours now.
It is too rough for us to try to stay on the treadmills this morning. Yesterday the Captain said it should start smoothing out this afternoon. We'll get his updated weather report during his noon PA later
Yesterday I mentioned staying up last night to watch the Cowboys game. Seems I was a day early as the game is tonight (Thursday Night Football). Problem with being on a cruise is you lose track of what day it is.
This is our position in the Atlantic at noon today. It is 70 degrees outside. It's not a rough today but the ship is still moving about. The Captain said this will continue at least until tomorrow. The production show for tonight has been canceled as it's not safe for the cast to be on stage dancing. The comedian will be featured at tonight's show instead. La Veranda at lunch time. Shrimp, mussels, smoked salmon, and lunch meats station.Hot foods: panko cod, chicken skewers, potatoes.
Carving pork today. Not sure what the casserole is. This guy is making wraps of some kind.
I had two bowls of the carrot & potato cream soup. Very YUMMY and very HOT.
I ordered this hot dog with fries from the pool grill. The bun was big but not at big as the hot dog. Rebecca has a standing order for this jalapeno/cheddar cheese every day. She takes it back to the suite for an afternoon snack. This is a nice, new addition to the suites. It is on the wall near bath room. You control suite temperature. Push bottom left button when you want housekeeping to clean your suite. It turns on a light outside the door that tells them. You can also push "do not disturb" button that also turns on light. No more having to hang sign out on door.
I took an hour "combat nap" between 3:00 and 4:00 this afternoon. The scopolamine can make you drowsy. That's why I use only half of a patch.
Cocktail hour in Observation Lounge again this evening followed by dinner in the Asian specialty restaurant, Pacific Rim. We asked Marius, the Restaurant Manager, last night if he could get us a reservation for 7:00pm tonight. He did!
At least I will go to hear the comedian's show. Will sit in the back for a hasty exit if not good.
Cowboys game at 1:00am so not sure yet if we will try to stay up for it.
Keep forgetting to mention that Shania Twain, country singer, is onboard just as a passenger--not performing. I would not know her is I saw her probably.
