DAY 7---AT SEA (Friday, DECEMBER 1ST)

  LAST EVENING

Nyoman is one of the bartenders in the Observation Lounge.
I had a couple Grey Goose martinis.
                                                                   Our pigs in a blanket
                                                           Veltran is the head bartender.
After cocktail hour we headed to the Pacific Rim.  Asian specialty restaurant where we had a 7pm reservation.  Our wine sommelier was Oleana from the Ukraine.  We asked to be seated with Bernalyn, waitress who we had on the world cruise.
This is Bernalyn.  She is a sweetheart.
                                                                   Pacific Rim chargers
Soft shell crabs tempura style were on the appetizer menu but I asked if they could dip them in corn meal they fry them.  The chef did it for us.  Bernalyn also brought us a plate of dim sums to try.
Rebecca chose the jumbo pink prawns as her entree.
I had the Canadian lobster tempura style.  We both had fried rice also.
Bernalyn is removing the shrimp from shell.
We really enjoyed our dinner and a nice switch from Compass Rose.
We finished dinner at 8:30 and did not want to have to wait an hour to see the comedian so we heading back to our suite.  We did not stay up for the Cowboys game.

TODAY

Alarm went off at 7:45 this morning as usual.  I went down to Coffee Connection to get Rebecca's two cups of coffee (double shot Americanos).  She told me the Cowboys won 41-35 over Seahawks.
I then went back down to Coffee Connection for my coffee and pastry.  This is where I work on the blog.
We both went to the gym after a day off due to rough seas.  There are some long swells today so we had to hold during treadmill time.  Here in our suite (midship) the ride is good.
This is our position at noon today.  Outside temperature is 72 degrees again today.  At noon the Captain said the long swells were 6 feet high.  Said we will be approaching another weather system tonight.
They were doing a Mexican food buffet for lunch today at the pool grill.

I got a plate with taco, refried beans, guacamole, and some chips.
This was on La Veranda buffet line.  I had an empanada (not very good) and some fried chicken (good).
Ate about half of this flourless chocolate cake.
Stopped at the Prime 7 bar to say hi to Ronnalyn.
This artwork was just outside of Prime 7.
Lights on both sides of the stairwells.  I like them.

At 6:00pm is the Seven Seas Society Cocktail Party in the theater.  We will be attending it.  We have been invited to dine in Compass Rose this evening with Stephane, the Food & Beverage Manager.
The show tonight is featuring our cruise director, David Nevin.  David is a very talented singer so definitely will be attending.
Tonight we turn our clocks back another hour.  So then we will be 4 hours ahead of Miami.
