LAST EVENING
She has a very good voice and did a Whitney Houston song.
YMCA is always the closing number.
After the show we had a cocktail in the Observation Lounge before meeting Roberto Paterno, Corporate Restaurant Manager at 7pm for dinner. Roberto is over all of Regent's ships dealing with our dining experience. We had a very good time with him and learned a lot.
My special double order of black mussels. Rebecca had a single order also. Very yummy!!
The beef Wellington was one of the best we have ever had. It is always on the menu the Captain's Farwell evening. We continue to be impressed with the food on Grandeur.
Our waiter Joseph (on left) and Compass Rose maitre'd, Jorge.
Captain Luciano came by to say hi.
I love this dessert. Pecan pie cheesecake.
Roberto had this creme brulee.
Once again we sat at our usual seats up close for Linda Gentille's second show.
TODAY
Thankfully, the Atlantic is much smoother today. Still some swells but Rebecca can do the treadmill today.
I had the spicy chicken wings for lunch. These signages are in both elevator wells on every deck.
Menorah candles for Hanukkah is in the Reception area.
They have some sundries available to buy in the Boutique.
Most guests are packing today as will be disembarking tomorrow morning. Not us as we will be on board for 4 more days. Only Commodores and Diamonds have been invited to remain on board for the 4 days and christening. We finally got a letter today with the agenda for those days. It said we will be assigned seats for dinners. Not sure, but think there will be a set menu for each evening.
We will be meeting Marcia, Barbara, and her daughter, Lisa, for cocktails up in the Observation Lounge at 6pm followed at 7pm for dinner in Pacific Rim restaurant.
Jesse Hamilton Jr's second show is tonight at 9:30. We will be there as Jesse is a great showman.
