DAY 9---At Sea (Sunday, December 3rd)

 LAST EVENING

After cocktails in the Observation Lounge we went down to meet the Todds for dinner in Compass Rose.  Unfortunately I neglected to get a photo of them then but will try to get one today.  I will put one of them on the blog next time I see them.
We both enjoyed the chicken parmesan for our entree.  It was prepared just the way I like it.
I had this apple tart with ice cream for dessert.
After dinner we headed to the theater for the production show, "Ignite the Night".  We sat on the front row next to the Todds.  We enjoyed the show as the cast is VERY talented.  Following are some photos of the show.

TODAY

Rebecca is elated today since Alabama beat Georgia last night.  We could have watched the game on Paramount Plus but the game was at 7pm (our time here on the ship) during our dinner.
I got Rebecca's coffees from Coffee Connection as usual and returned there to add the above photos to this post.  When I got back to the suite I saw that there was caviar (every Sunday) being served up in La Veranda.  Love caviar so went up for a big serving of it.

We attended the interdenominational church service today at 9:30 led again by the pianist, Gino.  Full house in Meridian Lounge again this Sunday.
After that I headed to Compass Rose to get some photos of the Sunday Brunch which is from 10:00 to 1:30.  Rebecca headed to the gym instead.  I will too after getting the photos.  We had smooth sailing last night for a change and it's smooth again today.
Stephane, the Food & Beverage Director, and Marius, the Restaurant Manager, announcing that the first 15 minutes after opening were for photo taking.
One of the orchestra's guitar players was playing as you entered Compass Rose for the brunch.
Chef Michael is responsible for this beautiful brunch.
Ice carving of the Regent "R" is first thing you see when entering.  Lots of shrimp on both sides.
                                                                       Bar station
                                                           Sushi and other seafoods
L to R:  Claire, Jacqueline, and Marlinda.
                                                                   Salads and dressings
                                                                 Breads and pastries
                                                                  Fruits and yogurts
Just missed getting photo of chefs and cooks posing for photo.
                                                                        Desserts
                                                                           Pates
Meats, shrimp, smoked salmon, deviled eggs, quiche
Deli meats, cheese, olives, tomato on mozzarella.
                                                                  Crepe station
Roast to carve.  There was also a huge ham to carve.  I had the ham and it was very good/
Buttered veggies, mashed potatoes, chicken breast, and pan fried fish.
Lasagna, sauteed shrimp, and fried rice.
The chefs and cooks are sooooo talented.  The guitar is made of chocolate.
                                                             A mountain of mussels.
Eggs benedict and French toast.  You could also order eggs cooked the way you like, ie, omelets, etc.

The brunch was a huge hit as the dining room was full and even a line to get at table.  We got one right away.  After the brunch I ran up to La Veranda to see if the Sette Mari chef could prepare a veal parmesan for me tonight even though it was not on the Sette Mari menu for tonight.  He said he could so we will be dining in Sette Mari.  At night they close half of La Veranda and turn the other half into an Italian restaurant.
At 2:00 this afternoon I went to the "Liars Club" in the theater.  The three liars were L to R:  Jeff Stevenson, the comedian; David Niven, cruise director; and Captain Luciano.  A strange word was put on screen and they had to define it.  Only one was telling the truth.  Good fun!!  Rebecca streamed last week's Young & Restless soaps.
Cocktails in Observation Lounge, dinner in Sette Mari, then to the theater at 9:30 for Isabel Commandeur's second and last show.  Setting our clocks back another hour again tonight.  That will put us on Bermuda's Atlantic Standard Time.  It is one hour ahead of Miami time.
As you have probably noted my blog posts are not in the morning where you are but closer to evenings.  Another sea day tomorrow!!
